A glimpse of the shoreline from our sister restaurant down in Stonington. Although we want to assure everything that this is NOT a replacement for Dock & Dine, it has been wonderful to see so many familiar faces come visit us down in Stonington!
As the weather has begun to change, we have been getting a lot more inquiries as to the status of rebuilding. Unfortunately, we don’t have a lot of information to pass along, but want everyone to know that we are still actively working towards getting everything ready for the rebuild. We've run into delays with the raising of the building and due to those delays, we won’t be open in time for this season, but promise to let everyone know as soon as we have more information to share. Thank you to everyone who continues to send messages of support. Despite the delay, Dock & Dine WILL BE BACK! And we look forward to seeing you all there!

Dock & Dine Update: Thank you to everyone who continues to offer support and encouragement as we continue along the process of rebuilding and raising Dock & Dine. Despite some delays that we have encountered, we continue to look forward to the completion and unveiling of our new restaurant and we thank you for standing beside us. At this time, the designs are complete and all necessary permits obtained, however delays in construction have determined that we will not be open in time for this season. Further construction will kick off as soon as we have the final funding in place and as soon as this happens, we will let everyone know of our anticipated timeline. Thank you to everyone for your continued patience and support as we continue along our path to rebuilding! -The Dock & Dine Family

In honor of St. Patrick's Day, we will be celebrating with a Mint Chocolate Martini! 1 1/2 oz Vodka 1/2 oz White Creme de Cocoa 1 1/2 oz Irish Creme Liqueur 1/2 oz Green Creme de Menthe Shake well & drizzle chocolate syrup on the inside of the glass before pouring. Enjoy!

We had a great time this weekend at the Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce's Annual Chili Fest - We loved seeing everyone who came out! We hope everyone enjoyed our Southwestern Black Bean & Shrimp Chili!!

An interesting read about the Connecticut River - Have you seen the USCG Bollard breaking up the ice along the river? According to this article, if they weren't proactive, we'd risk substantial damage to the docks when the river started to thaw in the spring!
